View 8-er is a set of two picture clippings (one for color Macs/one for black-and-white ones) for use with Window Monkey, a teriffic control panel by Tiger Technologies (http://www.tigertech.com).  Using View 8-er in conjunction with Window Monkey, not only will your System-7-running Mac look even MORE like Mac OS 8, but Finder list-views become tremendously easier to read.

  5. To use, simple drag one of the picture clippings into Window Monkey’s pattern window.  Open a Finder window you have set to a list-view, and select the pattern from the “View” menu installed by View 8-er.
